NOTE: READ MR-CRYUGA’S END FIRST! THE LINK IS POSTED BELOW!

Peace felt like he was about to die. Well, as close to dying as he’d ever been… he couldn’t die and so, his comparison point was rather limited, but the pain was right up there.
After a moment of darkness that seemed to stretch forever, a painful, white light crossed his vision. His eyes slowly adjusted to the dimmer light of the Dark Horse Tournament space station.
There were chrome-like doors to both his left and right, forming a short corridor with a wall in front of him. Turning around, he couldn’t help but give out a short gasp of awe.
A window allowed him to view the outer vacuum of space. Thousands upon thousands of stars glittered more purely than he’d ever seen. His eyes were drawn from one to the next, with each finding a new wonder, a new color, a beauty beyond what he’d ever seen.
“Wow…” he murmured to himself, “I could get used to this…”
A wave of nausea washed over him. “Whoa.” He held his head with his left hand and leaned against the cool chrome wall, the stars quickly fading from his mind’s eye.  What was going on?

Alpha had Prometheus busy looking at the video footage as he tried to figure out a way to contact Peace by modifying the transport devise that he’d used earlier to get his brother to the tournament.
“Heh, there you are,” Prometheus motioned Alpha over and they viewed the footage carefully, just barely able to make out the shadow of a figure that pulled Peace’s bag away from him, tipped out his equipment, and then returned it to it’s place, disappearing from view.
“Wait… what was that?”
“Unknown,” Alpha responded without changing his tone, “but Peace has another problem…”

Peace stumbled down the corridor, his head throbbing in pain. He stopped to rest, his breath coming out in short gasps, sweat beading on his face.
He wiped his brow, and dropped his bag, panting. “Probably… just an effect… of the… transporter…”
Suddenly, his bag jumped slightly, causing him to start. It shuffled forward, and stopped. Peace, taking the hilt of his katana in hand crept forward, cautiously. Then, using the end of the sheath, he poked his bag. It jumped again, scooting farther away from him, leaving Peace relatively befuddled. What had his brother given him? Was it… alive?
Despite the throbbing in his head, he was curious, and proceeded forward, his hand reaching for the strap and…
“GOTCHA!” he grabbed the bag and, using both hands, proceeded to slam it against the side of the ship several times. He then held it at arm’s length and inspected it carefully. It moved again, and he opted to hit it with his katana’s sheath instead. It didn’t move again after that.
Unzipping it cautiously, he peered inside. A fuzzy white surface met his eyes, followed by a smooth green one. “Well, this isn’t Alpha’s style…” his hand stretched forward and wandered across the soft array.
A high-pitched squeak greeted him, followed by a roundhouse kick to the face. The stars were back…
He shook his head, clearing his vision, and making him sick to his stomach. He covered his mouth with his hand and retched nastily. A voice came into his head, interrupting his misery. “Peace-san? That hurt!”

Peace regained some kind of equilibrium and looked up. A small slip of a girl stood before him, with a pure white head of hair that glistened in the light. Five equally white tails protruded from her round bottom, which went quite well with her ample bosom. A green leather tube top and shorts, along with the fishnet trimmings and arm and leg wraps didn’t leave all that much to the imagination.
“Peace-san?”
“Nn?”
“My face is up here!”
Peace stared sheepishly into the two blue eyes that were now boring holes into him and chuckled uneasily as her two wolfish ears pinned themselves unpleasantly against the sides of her head. The two black triangles on her face seemed just as threatening at this point as anything else, leering at him like two fangs, waiting to gnaw into his flesh.
“Hey, Shiro. What’s up?”
“So you know her, Peace?”
Peace started slightly. His brother’s voice was echoing inside his head.
“Yeah, I came across this weird village once…”
“Stow it, Peace. I think I might have some bad news.” Just as he said this, the voice began to short out. “As soon as I fix this.” With that, the android brother faded out of sight.
Peace slowly stood, and looked at Shiro. “Three questions.”
“I’m all ears, no pun intended.”
“One, what are you doing in my case? Two, where is my equipment? And three, HOW DID YOU EVEN FIT IN THERE?!”
Shiro remained silent for a moment. “I’m not at liberty to answer the third question. However, the other two are simple. I was sent by Nando-sama to spy on you and find out what your brothers were doing.”
“And you’re allowed to tell me this why?”
“Not the point. You were all just giving off a very strong, very concentrated energy signature, and Nando-sensei was concerned. To answer your other question, your equiptment is stashed under the desk in Alpha-san’s lab.”
“How did you even get past security?”
“I’m not telling.”

They proceeded down the hall, comparing notes over how life had gone since they last met, and finally found their way to the enrollment desk.
“Peace, a.k.a. Fehn Cryuga?” the young woman behind the desk clipped briskly.
“Yeah, that’s me.”
“You’re already signed in, I just need your signature here.” Peace signed with an x next to the signature mark. The woman then turned to Shiro. “And, you are…?”
“Her?!” Peace scrabbled in his mind for an answer, and slid his arm around Shiro’s shoulders. “Sh-she’s my… um… my… my pet!”
“WHAT?!” A large, red handprint embedded itself into the side of his face, accompanied by a whistling smack. “I’m nobody’s pet, you lame-brained excuse for a moron!”
The woman behind the desk panicked slightly. “SECURITY!” she shrieked, her shrill voice drawing the attention of most of the room’s crowd.
“Fantastic…” Shiro reached to draw a weapon from the storage area that was her tails, and, out of the corner of her eye, saw Peace’s form sag and attempt to collapse. “Whoa! Are you alright?” She looked into his paling face. “You don’t look so good…”
One of the guards grabbed Shiro’s arm, and twisted it behind her back, causing her to drop Peace on the floor.  In the ensuing chaos, Peace managed to find his way into the medical ward of the station, and Shiro ended up in a holding cell.
After some time, Cree came waltzing into the room, obviously in high spirits. Humming to herself, and fiddling with her fingernails, she sat on the end of Peace’s bed, as if she was waiting for something.
“Well?”
“Well what?”
“Don’t you have the decency to say hello to a lady?”
“Chivalry is dead, now go away, you old hag.”
This irked Cree more than slightly, but she suppressed it and continued, “Anyway… was there anything you wanted to know?”
“Where’s Shiro?”
“I thought you said chivalry was dead,” Cree mocked.
“It is, I just hate seeing a stacked chick cry.”
“Stacked? Oh… anyway…”
“Yes?”
“She’s waiting for your word on the subject.” Peace sat up to listen. “You give the word, and she’ll be entered into the tournament, just like you.”
“But she’s not even supposed to BE here!”
“Should you say no,” Cree interrupted, “she will be shot immediately.”
“So… where does she sign up?”

Ten minutes later, Shiro was standing by Peace’s bed, her hand pressing against his rapidly cooling forehead. Her brow was furrowing in a manner that was uncharacteristic of her character. “Peace,” she murmured to herself, “what’s happening to you?”
The young woman from the front desk entered the room, and beckoned Shiro away. After closing the door, she whispered, “We just need your name here,” her long nail pointing to the dotted line.
The signature read, Makoto, Shiro, of the Dream’s village.
