Description: Alina is an 80 year old phoenix princess. As phoenixes live in 500 year cycles, she's actually quite young. Serious and stoic for most of her waking hours, she finds great joy in dancing. The phoenixes have maintained a human appearance for years, ever since humans started hunting them for their feathers, so the younger ones, such as the Princess, never learned to fly. Therefore, dancing is the closest thing she can manage.
Why is she a good match for the god of trickery, King of Dororai, Tanook? They're two extremes. Tanook needs a woman with a rock-solid wit, while Alina really needs to loosen up. She might find him irritating at first, but she does have a sense of humor for the most inane things...

FUN FACT! All of Alina's "hair" (including eyebrows, lashes, arm and leg fuzz) consists of very thin feathers. They're flexible, but will snap in two if bent two far.
